Picasa for Seniors

Picasa is a handy and free photo management program. Picasa offers extended functionality for organizing and presenting your photo collection. It also offers several useful editing options. Resolution and Print Size
The more pixels a photo contains, the larger you can print it at a high quality (300 DPI).
In the table below, you can see the connection between the resolution and the maximum print size.

From the table, you can see that a photo should contain at least 2 megapixels for a standard 4" x 6" print.
